Ham & Egg Breakfast Torta

Ingredients

For this delicious recipe, we will need the following ingredients:

12 slices FUD® Sliced Original Cooked Ham
2 cups FUD® Queso Fresco Mexican Style Crumbling Cheese
1 cup refried beans
8 large eggs
⅛ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika or paprika
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 bolillo rolls, cut horizontally in half
1 large avocado
1½ tablespoons fresh lime juice

Cooking

It ‘s time to cook! Follow the instructions below and enjoy the process:

Preheat oven to 400°. In large skillet, in batches, sear FUD® Selecto Ham 1 minute over medium-high heat, turning once.

In small microwave-safe bowl, heat refried beans in microwave oven on high 1 minute, stirring once.

In large bowl, whisk eggs, salt, pepper and paprika. In large skillet, cook eggs in oil over medium heat 4 minutes or until cooked through, stirring frequently.

Evenly spread refried beans over bottom halves of rolls; top with ham, eggs, FUD® Campirano™ Fresco Cheese, salsa and top halves of rolls. Wrap sandwiches in aluminum foil; place on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until heated through.

Open top of sandwiches and evenly divide avocado over salsa; drizzle lime juice over avocado. Cut each sandwich in half.
